They use a forensic interview to identify those needs and develop the software solely for those needs. Everything is created custom for your company’s needs.

How did your business get started?

Josh is the founding partner of Solutions Afoot and the Senior Application Developer. He has been doing database application development since 2004. He was the chief architect of MNsure’s insurance marketplace online application. Since his MNsure days Josh has developed applications for various industries including toys, compliance law and other healthcare applications. He also developed the Sherlock CRM for small to medium businesses.

Josh likes to volunteer his time and pay forward knowledge he has obtained throughout the years. He is a big sports enthusiast and will watch most competitive sports. Josh has been married to his wife Cherie for 22 years and they have two daughters together.

He is joined by his other company partners, Christ Vaughan and Nike Roach in operating Solutions Afoot.

What was your biggest startup challenge? What steps did you take to overcome it? What did you learn?

The biggest challenge was gaining name recognition. You must create a positive image and reputation in order to grow roots.

How does your business benefit the community?

My business benefits the community by giving them a choice other than over the counter software applications that might not address all their business needs.

What’s your favorite joke?

I have no clean jokes. The only alternative is Dad jokes – but no one wants to hear those either.
